A $30 gift restored a career!

Until recently, Jayantibhai Khumanbhai Patel worked as a security guard in a private company in a small town outside of Ahmedabad, India. Three months ago, his bad vision became too much of a liability, and his employer left him with two options.  He could either leave the company or work as a day laborer.  As he was not comfortable with heavy lifting at his age, he lost his job.  Without work for three months, Jayantibhai was struggling.  Fortunately, he was identified by a field worker from the Blind People’s Association tasked with diagnosing cataracts.  He was asked to come to the BPA hospital in Ahmedabad, India for free surgery.  As a result of this surgery, Jayantibhai’s vision was restored.  He was able to reapply for his position as a security guard, and the company graciously rehired him!  Thank you Kripal for your support of Jayantibhai and his career!
