gave 20 for a Braille kit |
posted April 1, 2011

Hirabhai lives in India with his mother and siblings. After his father’s death over ten years ago, all the responsibilities were put on the shoulders of his older brother. His brother’s income is slim and because of this some of Hirabhai’s needs have been overlooked.
Despite this, Hirabhai was able to complete school at the Bhavnagar Blind School. From there he went on to attend the Rajesh Mehta Technical School for the Blind where he is currently studying in a carpentry course. To complete this course he needed a Braille kit for taking notes and finishing his assigned work. Because of your generous donation Balynda, he has been provided with the Braille kit he needed.
After completion of his carpentry course he wants to take a weaving course and would like to start his career as a technical instructor. Thanks Balynda for your donation towards Hirabhai’s Braille kit and future.
