Keval wants to reach out to the less privileged!

Keval Rami
Dear Rahul,

Twenty-three year old Keval, hails from the village of Dehgam in Gandhinagar District, Ahmedabad, where he lives with his parents and three siblings.

Keval’s father works in a medical shop and his mother is a teacher in a primary school. His siblings are of school-going age. He comes from a very modest family background and his father barely earns enough to meet their basic needs and pay for the children’s education. Keval has been completely blind since birth. Despite his blindness, Keval completed his 12th grade from Navrangpura Blind School, Ahmedbad, after which he sought admission for the Physiotherapy course for the Blind, run by Blind People’s Association (BPA). Keval is currently pursuing his 1st year of Physiotherapy course at BPA and is throughly enjoying his course.

He, however, found it increasingly difficult to cope with the demands of his course, without a Braille kit of his own. He could not take down notes in class and was worried that this might affect his grades. He soon realized he would need a Braille kit of his own, to assist him in his studies like all other students but he know that his parents couldn’t afford to get one for him. Knowing that his school provides disability aids to the needy with the help of doors, he applied for a Braille kit, to his school authorities.

Your generous donation, Rahul, enabled BPA to provide Keval a much-needed Braille kit which he now uses to complete his school work and take down class notes.  Keval is now motivated to study further and hopes to become a successful Physiotherapist someday, so that he can treat the poor and needy patients, who can’t afford such treatment.

Thank you, Rahul,  for your kind donation towards Braille kit for Keval. Your support is much appreciated!
