Naresh is motivated to study further!
posted April 8, 2011

Nineteen year old, Naresh, lives in a place called Vijaynagar in Sabarkantha District. His is a family of six members that includes, his parents, three siblings and himself.
Naresh’s father works as an agricultural laborer and his mother is a house-wife. While his brother is studying in the 10th grade, his two sisters have discontinued their studies, owing to the family’s poor economic condition.
Naresh, who was born with a low vision problem, completed his Higher Secondary Level Education from Gandhinagar Blind School. Soon after completing his basic education, he realized he should learn a trade which will help him get employed soon.
After much inquiry, he decided to join the Rajesh Mehta Technical School for the Blind, run by Blind People’s Association at Vastrapur, Ahmedabad where he is currently studying his Motor Rewinding course.
Owing to his poor eye-sight, he started finding it difficult to study and perform in his course. Without a braille kit, it was very difficult for him to cope with the demands of his course. He was well aware of the fact that his parents would never be able to buy one for him and knowing that BPA provides disability aids to the needy with the help of donors, he decided to apply for one.
Your generous donation, Sanjay, enabled BPA to provide him a much-needed low-vision kit with which he can now focus on completing his course. In this picture, you can see Naresh reading with the help of a Hand Magnifier, gifted by you. He is now motivated to study further and after completing his course, he wants to pursue a physiotherapy course and aspires to become a successful physiotherapist.
Thank you, Sanjay, for your support!
