Twenty two year old Dinesh Gupta resides in Babubhai’s Chawl, New Vadej, Ahmedabad. Dinesh has two brothers and two sisters. His father works as a security guard in a private company and his mother is a housewife. At the age of 10 months, Dinesh became a victim of epilepsy which left him with 60% vision.
Despite his disability, Dinesh studied up to the 11th grade after which he dropped out of school because he couldn’t afford to continue his education. Dinesh sells cutlery items from a platform near his house to supplement the family income.
Though Dinesh is very hardworking, his earnings were limited because he could not sell his wares from a location where he could get more business. Your donation, Joel, enabled BPA to give a hand cart to Dinesh. He is now mobile and can set up his “store” where he is most likely to get business.
Thank you, Joel, for your generosity.
