Ramilaben is happy to resume work!

Ramilaben
Dear Joan,

Ramilaben A. Solanki is 52 years old and lives in the village of Navpuara.

She works as sweeper in a local factory. She is a widow and has one son who also works as a daily wage laborer. Her son has three children and the entire family depends on Ramilaben and her son for their livelihood. Besides this, the children’s studies also need to be paid for.

Sometime back, Ramilaben started finding her vision diminishing as   she was not even able to see even from a close distance of 2 feet. She was forced to stay at home and the family had to meet their needs on one person’s income.

IN a camp organized in her village, she was identified as having cataract and was brought to the hospital for surgery. Post surgery, she is now able to see clearly  and is very happy to resume work at the factory.

It’s thanks to your generous donation, Joan, that Ramilaben’s operation costs could be taken care of. You have helped not just her, but an entire family that depends on her!

Thank you, Joan, for your support!
