Mahesh dreams of becoming a renowned Physiotherapist!

Mahesh-Vadekhania
Dear Kristin & Craig,

Twenty year old Mahesh lives with his family in the District of Sundarnagar. Mahesh’s father works as a daily wage worker and his mother is a housewife. He has two siblings – an older brother who works in a diamond polishing firm and a younger brother of school-going age. It’s the father and the older brother who work together to support the needs of the family.

Mahesh is totally blind since birth. Despite his blindness he completed his 12th grade  from a normal school  under the integrated education scheme, a project run by the Government of Gujarat. After which he got enrolled in the Physiothreapy School for the Blind run by Blind People’s Association.

Mahesh is currently studying 1st year of physiotherapy.  Before receiving a Braille kit from you, he was finding it very difficult to cope with his studies and could not take down class notes.

Your generous donation, Kristin and Craig, enabled BPA to provide him with a braille kit which he now uses to help him in his studies. Thanks to that, he can now take down class notes on his braille slate and is positive of completing his course. It’s his dream to start his own Physiotherapy clinic someday and become a renowned practitioner.

Thank you, Kristin and Craig for your support of Mahesh, thereby motivating him to work towards a brighter future!
