Gunmatbhai is looking forward to working in the fields again

10.Gunmathbhai
Gunmatbhai is a farm laborer who lives in the village of Navapura. He has two sons and two daughters, all of whom are married. Both is sons are farm laborers like him, and between them, they manage to earn enough to support the extended family. Though the work is seasonal, they have learnt to save enough during the cultivation season to last them the entire year.

About a year back, Gunmatbhai develop cataracts in both eyes, and was not able to work in the fields. He missed the entire cultivation season, and though he did not like being dependent on his sons, he had no choice. Your donation, Gita, enabled BPA to perform a cataract surgery on Gunmatbhai. The cultivation season is about to start, and he is excited about being able to go to the fields and earn money. Working in the fields is also a time when he can bond socially with other farm laborers.

Thank you, Gita,  for bringing normalcy back into Gunmatbhai’s life.
