Seventeen year old Pratik Vaishnav lives in the village of Pipan in Gujarat. He belongs to poor family- his father works in ginning factory as a labourer and his mother is a house wife. Pratik has been affected by low vision since birth. Pratik studied in a normal school up to primary level education, and is currently doing a motor rewinding course in at the Technical School for the Blind run by the Blind People’s Association, Ahmedabad.

The low vision kit donated by you is helped him to do the various measurements & calculations required in his course. In this photo Pratik is reading with the help of hand magnifier.
