Manikben can watch her grandchildren grow old

Manikben is a housewife that enjoys spending her time looking after her grandchildren. She helps them with school and feeds them daily. Manikben is from a village called Vabada, near Ahmedabad, India, where she lives with her husband and grandchildren.

However, Manikben suffered from poor vision and needed corrective cataract surgery in order to continue caretaking for her grandchildren. These children depend on her to take care of them, but Manikben would have been unable to do so with her diminishing vision. Luckily, the Blind People’s Association was able to help her thanks to your donation, Julie.
